Dinner Date set! Sunday July 13 - are you on the guest list yet?

By Katherine Dodds

We have THREE tickets left for a very special Vancouver 'perk' on offer for The Corporation Film's #OffTheCouch Campaign! The dinner will be on Sunday evening, July 13, at 6:30. The next TWO people to claim this, will get the tickets for half price as our Community Producer Mukund Menda has subsidized them.

Vancouverites! Give now and reserve your place at the table for our exclusive secret supper & private jazz concert with Joel Bakan & Rebecca Jenkins (only 3 of 10 spots remaining!)

With a gift to our campaign at the $1,000 level, you can take your place as one of ten guests (and half the spots are already snapped up!) at a dinner party in my very cool Chinatown studio, which includes a private jazz concert by The Corporation author Joel Bakan and his partner, the singer and actress Rebecca Jenkins. You'll be served cocktails (or mocktails) during the concert, followed by a free-range feast that is tailored for your preferences (cooked by me), and will get to chat with Joel over dinner about his new book, a sequel to The Corporation. Please consider giving to our campaign in this way, and share this invite with others who might love to be part of a unique evening.

The illustration above was created by our designer extraordinaire Terry Sunderland, who also brought you The Corporation logo and all our cool campaign graphics. If you contribute at the Secret Supper level, we will also make YOU into an avatar for our activist 'crowd' in future posters and on the website. : ) PLUS you will get signed copies of Joel's books, a print version of the poster, and a DVD of the new cut of the film with your name in the credits as community supporter!

Of course contributions to the campaign at any level are also gratefully received. Even a small donation to the campaign means one more supporter, and we are just as excited about gaining supporters as we are reaching our monetary goal! Contribute Now.

We've just passed the $20K mark in the crowdfunding campaign for The Corporation film's 10th anniversary! Thank you to everyone who has helped us get this far already. Please forward this email and encourage everyone to help us get the film FREE into 1,000 schools.

If you haven't checked out the campaign recently, we have some new gifts to offer in in exchange for yours, including getting credited as a community supporter in the new cut of the film at the $50 level!

In anticipation of meeting our goal of gifting the film to 1,000 schools, we've also launched a film to educator 'matchmaker' service. If you're an eligible educator seeking a witty, stylish and award-winning companion for your classroom, sign up now.

Normally, public screenings or 'open showings' require a one-time only license that costs around $200-$500. With your gift of $100, you will receive the downloadable new cut of The Corporation licensed for UNLIMITED use. You can host as many screenings, fundraisers, or parties that you want. This offer is EXCLUSIVE to the crowdfunding campaign so get it now before it's gone!

We have lots of gifts to offer in exchange for yours, including getting credited as a community supporter or producer in the new cut of the film!

We hope you will consider donating to this campaign! Because if we can change the corporation, we CAN change the world.
